Our Library is a welcoming and spacious environment at the heart of the school, providing students with a comfortable place to read, study and relax. With a wide range of fiction, non-fiction and reference books, there is something to inspire every reader, whatever their interests or reading ability.
Students have access to the Library during breaktimes and lunchtimes, where they can enjoy the calm atmosphere, discover new books and develop a lifelong love of reading. Comfortable seating areas make it an ideal space for both independent reading and quiet study.
Throughout the year, we encourage students to engage with reading through a variety of activities and events, including reading challenges, themed competitions and celebrations such as World Book Day. These opportunities help to foster a vibrant reading culture and inspire students to explore new authors, genres and ideas.

Reading Vending Machine
Located near the canteen, our Reading Vending Machine offers students another exciting way to discover new books and develop a love of reading. The books available are completely free, allowing students to choose titles that interest them and enjoy reading for pleasure.
If there is a particular book that a student would like to read, they can speak to a member of staff who will do their best to source it from the vending machine. Students are welcome to keep the books they select or return them once they have finished reading; the choice is entirely theirs.
The Reading Vending Machine helps make books accessible to all students and encourages reading beyond the classroom, supporting our commitment to fostering a positive reading culture throughout the school.
